May 22 - CSAG General Membership
Meeting - 7:00 The May program will be a presentation
from frameworks gallery. Details to follow. Our
meeting location has changed. In case you haven’t heard,
we have lost the use of the Olympic Training Center for at least
the remainder of 2008. Therefore, we had to find a new location.
Thanks to the efforts of Kang Lee Sheppard and the Sheppard
Art Institute, we are meeting at the Colorado Springs Senior
Center for the foreseeable future. The address is 1514 North
Hancock Ave, which is 3 blocks north of E. Uintah St. Approaching
on Uintah from the west, make a left onto northbound Hancock.
Approaching from southbound Union Blvd, make a right turn on
E. Caramillo St. (by East Junior High), and Hancock is the second
left turn. The Senior Center is at the southwest corner of E.
Caramillo St. and N. Hancock Ave. Large parking lot in front
of the center, and plenty of on-street parking on both E. Caramillo
St. and N. Hancock Ave. If you’ve never been to the Senior
Center before, I think you will be pleasantly surprised; it
is a very nice facility - several meeting rooms, classrooms,
etc. It really is a great resource, and we are fortunate to
be able to meet there.
